Hi :) I’ve been so grateful for those of you who have been praying for me!! I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you. Thank you very much :)
I actually have two prayer requests that I want to ask for:

1. Community Prayer: So as some of you know, I’ve transitioned into leading community prayer for my fellowship for the next year (until April 2013). Last week was my first time, and it went well (even though I was nervous). God’s definitely been teaching me to lean on Him and I’m excited for all the ways He’s going to teach me to grow, especially with community. I wanted to continue to request prayer for sensitivity to God and His will. I pray that God will help us catch the vision for the community and college campuses. I also ask for prayer that I would always stay humble, loving, and considerate to those around me.
I also wanted to request prayer for tonight. We are going to be doing a prayer walk for an hour tonight and I ask for prayer that God would lead us in it :)

2. The Gospel: So, finals are coming up and what do you know… one of my final exams is an oral exam/project for my language class. It is going to be a “debate” (not really because it’s all scripted) and I’m going to start writing the script with my partner tomorrow. The thing is… the topic that I’m “debating” on (I’m just going to say discuss from now on) is religion! I didn’t realize it at first, but… This is a wonderful opportunity to share with people the ways that God has worked in and changed my life. I hope to share the truth of the gospel and reveal more about the loving character of God. He isn’t someone who is distant, uncaring, vengeful, or someone who expects others to “measure” up to where He is. He wants to know each and every one of us! So I ask for prayer that God would also help me and lead me in sharing His love and His story with others. I just think that it’s a chance to help change any misconceptions that people may have about Him and His character and to show people that God cares about our daily lives and about us as individuals.
